  • “Do you think cos I’ve been in the jail all I know is how to hurt people?”

Every year in Scotland thousands of people return home from prison to an uncertain future.

A Giant on the Bridge is unflinching, spellbinding gig-theatre revealing the human experiences in this prison-homecoming journey, which fuses acoustic songwriting, Scottish hip hop & original storytelling.

A Giant on the Bridge was part of the Made in Scotland Showcase 2024. It won a Skinny-Fest Festival Bestie Award for Collaboration and was shortlisted for the Scottish Arts Award and International Fringe Encore Series.

  • A Mother’s Song is the 5-star, folk musical by Scottish composer Finn Anderson and West End director Tania Azevedo. Designed by Emma Bailey (Six), Lighting Design by Simon Wilkinson (Stamping Ground, Bedknobs and Broomsticks), and choreography by Lindsay McAllister (Be More Chill, Six).

Sarah comes from a long line of ballad singers, but has severed ties with her family and the folk traditions of her childhood. In modern day New York City, as Sarah and her girlfriend unpack in their new flat, she rediscovers these songs and the stories within them. Sarah is forced to go on an unexpected and life-changing journey across time. From 17th century Stirling to 21st century New York City, this powerful story follows Sarah's ancestors, three remarkable women at different moments in history, and traces the incredible journey of Scottish folk music across the Atlantic.

A Mother’s Song premiered at Macrobert Arts Centre, Stirling in February 2023.

  • Mairi Campbell is a Scottish musician whose theatre work is rooted in, and draws from, personal stories and cultural concerns. Classically trained, she is an established member of Scotland’s traditional music scene, combining voice, fiddle and viola and pushing the boundaries with free improvisation, songs and stagecraft. Her voice has been heard worldwide thanks to her version of Auld Lang Syne, with David Francis (The Cast), being used in the pivotal New Year’s Eve scene of the film Sex and the City.

Since 2016 Mairi and co-devisor / director Kath Burlinson have created two solo multi-disciplinary theatre shows Pulse (2016) and Auld Lang Syne (2018) as part of a trilogy. The final production, Living Stone was premiered in summer 2024 and won a Scotsman Fringe First.

  • Sunk tells the story of Bob and Charlie, two incompetent men who set sail on a voyage of remembrance for their fathers who were lost at sea. Will their lifelong friendship survive when they are confined in a small boat with an approaching storm and their world about to capsize around them?

Written and performed by Ian Cameron and Sean Hay. Directed by Nicholas Bone with designer Karen Tennent, lighting designer, Simon Wilkinson and sound designer, Georgina MacDonell Finlayson

  • Gig theatre, storytelling and striking visuals combine in When Mountains Meet, to tell the story of one woman’s travels in search of family and connection.

When Mountains Meet premiered to sell-out houses at Celtic Connections Festival 2023 and had a sold out tour of Scotland in spring 2024.
