Unflinching, spellbinding gig-theatre performed by Louis Abbott (Admiral Fallow), Jo Mango, Goodnight Louisa, Raveloe & Solareye.
Every year in Scotland thousands of people return home from prison to an uncertain future. A Giant on the Bridge reveals the intimate human experiences within this prison-homecoming journey, in a compelling narrative-gig which fuses acoustic songwriting, Scottish hip hop & original storytelling.
Five of Scotland’s leading musicians explore identity, family, community, restoration, injustice - and the pulsing heartbeat within these hidden stories.
Devised by musician Jo Mango and award-winning theatre-maker Liam Hurley with research by Phil Crockett Thomas. Originally developed through work with the Distant Voices Community.
